A Note from Our Founder

Dear Friend of CDFF,

We have envisioned creating a permanent home for Chagrin Documentary Film Festival in our beloved Chagrin Falls for many years. So it was pretty amazing to have an opportunity come our way in 2021 when we were presented with the chance to purchase a building right on the Chagrin Falls Triangle. This space will be our international headquarters, including our administrative offices and a street-level space to allow for events, workshops, and programming throughout the year.

This building is the next chapter in the evolution of a dream. More than a dozen years ago, we dreamed this Fest into existence. And since that day, we have dedicated ourselves to growing a brilliant organization that brings meaning, curiosity, and passion to Chagrin Falls and the world beyond.

Today, we have the chance to raise $1 million that will allow us to purchase and renovate our new home fully while also providing critical program and capacity funds to ensure that our Fest is here for generations to come. Will you join me in making a gift to the Campaign for CDFF and propel our Fest into its bold and bright future?

With sincere gratitude,

Mary Ann Ponce, Founder and Director

The Chagrin Documentary Film Festival has been inspiring Northeast Ohio and the world to come together to learn and explore through the powerful stories told through film; drawing passionate filmgoers from near and far and opening the door to talented artists and global culture

With the launch of our first-ever Capital Campaign, the goal is to secure a permanent home for the Festival in downtown Chagrin Falls and provide critical funds to help sustain our legacy for years to come.

The Goal: $1M Capital Campaign
